SOFA stands for Supporting Old Factories in Africa, these collections of blankets are crafted in iconic mohair factories around South Africa which are in need of economic support. The collections are made from 'dead-stock' at the factories which are selected to make limited edition colour palettes, inspired by the Karoo region. This process embodies Frances V.H's commitment to a sustainable and ethical practice by using what we already have and supporting textile workers, to create a unique and timeless piece.

South African Frances V.H uses the country’s finest and natural mohair fibre originating from the Karoo region to create traditionnally hand-woven home accessories. With the aim to preserve traditional craftmanship, mohair pieces are delicately handmade from spinning to trimming.
