Maki Oh's Spoon Adire Mini Skirt features ruffle double panel detail and was handmade in Nigeria in collaboration with Adire Ogun artisans using locally sourced materials. The textiles are made using the traditional Nigerian process of Adire. The custom motifs are hand painted in cassava plant paste and hand-dyed using natural dyes.

ABOUT MAKI OH
Maki Oh is a Nigerian-based womenswear brand founded by 2014 LVMH Prize semi-finalist Amaka Osakwe. Apart from having a distinctive take on artisanal Nigerian fabrics, Amaka’s creative use of adire - the traditional technique of hand-dyeing indigo prints – has become a signature of her brand.
